FeLow-D

Sponsor Conference

FeLow-D is an ERA Chair project at the Institute of Solid-State Physics, University of Latvia, (ISSP UL) dedicated to advancing low-dimensional ferroelectric materials for modern electronic and biomedical technologies. It combines cutting-edge materials research with advanced modeling and nanoscale device engineering to explore new functionalities for energy harvesting, flexible sensors, smart implants, and other emerging applications.

The project strengthens research capacity at ISSP UL by establishing a high-level laboratory, attracting international expertise, and enhancing collaboration with industry. Led by ERA Chair holder Dr. Andrei Kholkin, FeLow-D promotes open knowledge exchange and supports the development of innovative ferroelectric materials and devices within the European Research Area.
