It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the Eastern Europe Ferroelectric Symposium (EEFS), an outreach IEEE conference organized by the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia, on June 1-4, 2026.

This Symposium is sponsored by IEEE UFFC Society and is primarily aimed at bringing together students, scientists, engineers, and industry representatives to discuss their recent findings in ferroelectric / piezoelectric / multiferroic materials, devices, and related fields.

The program will feature:

  • Plenary and invited talks

  • Oral and poster presentations of peer-reviewed abstracts

  • Post-symposium tutorials and master classes by leading experts in the field (including those focused on state-of-the-art interferometric PFM)

  • Various networking events.

The Symposium will take place in the beautiful city of Riga, rich in history, with stunning medieval and Art Nouveau architecture, and located close to the Baltic Sea. Riga can be conveniently reached by train, air travel, and bus connections from the Baltic States, Scandinavia, and across Europe.
